How to Fix Activation Issues When Running RadiAnt on macOS
After upgrading to macOS 15 Sequoia, you may notice that your Mac frequently changes its MAC address. This can cause RadiAnt to detect a hardware change and require reactivation. This behavior is due to macOS 15’s new privacy features, which can assign randomized MAC addresses for network connections.
To resolve this issue, you can configure your network settings to disable MAC address randomization. Doing so will prevent RadiAnt's activation check from failing due to MAC address changes.
How to Set a Fixed MAC Address in macOS 15 (Sequoia)
1. Open System Settings:
o Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen.
o Select System Settings from the dropdown menu.
2. Go to Wi-Fi Settings:
o In the left sidebar, click Wi-Fi.
o Select the Wi-Fi network and click Details...
3. Configure the MAC Address:
o Look for the option labeled Private Wi-Fi Address.
o Toggle this option Off to disable MAC address randomization.
4. Repeat these steps for each of the Known Networks that you connect to.
Your Mac will now always connect using the same MAC address, ensuring that RadiAnt remains activated even after changing Wi-Fi networks or rebooting your system.
