hi there, I wonder if this is already possible or not with the commandline.
if yes, which syntax should I have to use?
if not, please add it to the ToDo List

I would also like to see this feature, because I would autostart the import when the CD is inserted instead of manual import.

Sure, we'll place it on our to-do list.

In fact, we'd need a command line which can import to database particular folders, or particular zip files, so that we don't have to do it manually every time.
This would be a killer feature, I hope.

Yes, if this feature is added, you will be able to import anything you define: CD, folders, files, ZIP archives...

Thank you for including the command line import function, but I couldn't find out how to do it in the manual. So, would you please mention the command syntax here.

Most importantly, do you plan to implement this function in the next 12 months?

It seems that this feature did not make it to the 2020.2 version after all...
We'll do our best to include this functionality in the next version.

In fact it's perfectly possible to do it in current version with external storescu.exe or dcmsend.exe, while keeping Radiant open and accepting incoming files.

Great, this did not occur to me. Maybe you have experience with another problem I am facing: I use radiant AND it's local database on my main computer but will not buy radiant licenses for all computers (for instance that ones I use once in 3 weeks). I want to have the radiant local database automatically mirrored by a pacs server, so that I can access the images from other viewers too (i.e. Weasis). Do you know a free pacs server that could monitor a directory (in this case radiant db directory) for _change_ and automatically mirror / import new files?

Short answer is no.
Long answer - I'd pick Orthanc, and either give up on Local Database if You have Orthanc in Your LAN (gigabit network is fast enough), or - if You need Local Database and PACS I'd give up "monitoring changes" in database, I'd rather import the data simultanously using third party tool to Orthanc and Radiant, OR I'd import the data to Orthanc and push it to Radiant from Orthanc.
I don't know any folder-watching solution for windows, I've tried on Linux, It did not work very well.
