Just tested.
Current beta 4.9.15.21356 does not detect CUDA acceleration under wine.
003b:trace:nvcuda:DllMain (0x7fcb23400000, 1, (nil))
003b:trace:nvcuda:wine_cuDriverGetVersion (0xad80970)
003b:trace:nvcuda:DllMain (0x7fcb23400000, 0, (nil))
(all CUDA related stacktrace)
In 4.6.15 CUDA acceleration does work in wine-staging (current 4.0 rc3 and 3.13 - initial version I tested).
I consider it as a regression.

What is the latest version that has CUDA working for you?
You listed 4.6.15 but such version never existed. The latest general public version is 4.6.9.

My bad, I meant 4.6.5 DOES work, 4.6.9 does NOT work.
Current beta does NOT, I probably don't have any working beta on my harddrive now : (

CUDA version was changed in RadiAnt 4.6.9 from 9.1 to 9.2, so most probably this is the cause of your issues. No other changes were made to the GPU related code.

Hello, I have the same problem.Сould you tell me if you found a solution.

CUDA 9.2 is available only in Debian/unstable, Debian/testing so far sticks to 9.1, that is probably the reason. I will update here as soon as I find the way to make it work again (probably by upgradeing to Debian/unstable).

It does work with GPU drivers backported from Debian/experimental (with cuda 9.2 support).
I might need a faster GPU though... or just stop running at fullscreen 2560x1440... Or You could implement progressive rendering for GPU as for CPU. ; )
Currently ~2-3 fps @GTX 970 with 244 slices head angio CT (512x512 matrix), Angio preset. I don't remember whether It was better on Windows or not, I doubt it.

What's the current version of CUDA used?

CUDA 10.1 is used in RadiAnt 5.0.0
Sometimes it took a few seconds to initialize CUDA in RadiAnt when 9.2 was used. Now, with CUDA 10.1 things run much smoother.

Just to inform everybody here - CUDA in RadiAnt under Wine will not work until CUDA 10.1/10.2 functions are implemented into wine-staging.
Current nvidia driver for linux DO support CUDA 10.2, but wine stopped somewhere around 9.2 ( github.com/wine-staging/wine-staging/tree/master/patches/nvcuda-CUDA_Support ). No hope for any progress soon, it was nearly one-man implementation, last commit was over a year ago...

Woah, RadiAnt CUDA acceleration does work again under wine!
Tested: 2022.1 beta, build #10100, under wine-staging 7.6.
Recent commits to wine-staging bumped the supported CUDA to 10.something, enough to support RadiAnt.
Hardware configuration: still GTX 970, i7-7700K, in my scenario still some profit from acceleration, the difference is noticable, but not critical.

Nice to hear that guys at Wine are making progress :-)
