DICOM Anonymisation Feature request

Dear RadiAnt team

Compliments to the progress you have seen over the last two years. I have been a keen follower of your programme and has helped me a great deal in teaching.

One feature that would be really usefull will be to have the ability to strip the DICOM parameters with the click of a buttun and export as a new anonymised study, which can be used for teaching :)

Something similar to DICOM Cleaner

What do you use at the moment to anonymise your studies, any recommendations ?

Warm regards
Sameer

Dear Sameer,

Thank you for being our strong supporter almost from the beginning :-)
We will make anonymization available in RadiAnt, but not before PACS connectivity is ready...
Currently when in need of anonymization, we use a simple tool: DICOM Anonymizer.

Best regards,
Maciej

Dear Maciej

Thanks a lot, you have been wonderful.

Anonymization tool will boost your programme a great deal as many are looking for a complete package similar to osirix on PC

I feel you have covered atleast 2/3rd the distance, anon + local database will make RadiAnt perfect

Will always keep looking out for your growth.

Where can I get DICOM Anonimizer, is this a paid app and is it cross-platform as well ?

Regards
Sameer

DICOM anonymizer is a very simple tool, and only for Windows.
It can be downloaded at sourceforge.net/projects/dicomanonymizer
