Dicom Export Database

Any plans for being able to export the Dicom images from a disc as Dicom images onto a computer such that you can maintain a database without having to keep all the discs? I like the export feature which sets up a file with the patients name and study info, etc but it is not useful to save as a JPEG or whatnot except for presentations. . .
