| Extremely slow load of DICOM file |

Hello, I have a DICOM file that is taking an extremely long time to load. Over 30 seconds. It's a fairly large image, but it is only a single image. Anyone there may have time to look and see what the problem with this file is? (it is small enough for email).

Bill, thank you for uploading the file.
This image (Slide Microscopy) is huge, about 83 megapixel.
Moreover, it is compressed with a pretty slow JPEG2000 algorithm.
I'm afraid there's no way it can be decoded in less than 20 seconds (our fast workstation does 22 seconds).
You could speed up loading of this file by originally saving it using a standard JPEG algorithm (1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.50 JPEG Baseline).

Having a similar issue now when trying to move from clip to clip of an echo series - been doing this for months with no problem but now there is several seconds delay moving from one clip to the next. Anyone else having this kind of problem ?
