It's been a couple years now since RadiAnt became a paid software and I honestly was expecting much more from the development team.
Features like curved MPR, MIP capabilities in the regular viewer, filter and hand-drawing capabilities in the MPR viwer, and many others are on the to-do-list for many years now, and there's no clue if they will ever be implemented.
And I'm not even mentioning advanced features like semi-automated vessel straightening or volume segmentation tools. The reality is that the imaging processing part of the software has been fundamentaly the same for about 5 years or more.
Are there any plans for improvements on the imaging processing part of the software soon?

I support this question. For me I started to look around for a new Viewing-Software.
They are all paid, but they are supported and improved regularly.
Its a pitty!

I do not really think so. Radiant is extremely cheap for a dicom viewer and I do not think that the developer team is very big. Of course it would be nice getting answers in the forum sooner and I also dearly miss some important features. But lets be honest - if you are an imaging professional, you can easily afford one of the much more expensive dicom viewers and get everything you want (well, believe me, I searched and tested a lot and haven't found it yet, but this is my personal experience) or - as I do - you just get some additional easy to use functions with Radiant. If you do not have money - Radiant is (apart from all its missing features) in my opinion the far best that you can get. And do not expect that they can directly compete with 3D viewers costing several 1000 Euros per year. It is already amazing that they are trying...
So - I think we should not always complain but be grateful for what we get. And I really hope that I am right and the Radiant project continues on its slow but successful path into the future...

The thing is, now that RadiAnt is a paid software, the updates are fewer, slower and smaller, which seems a little contradictory to me.
And I am very grateful for all the work the RadiAnt team has done, but they've promissed a lot of features many years ago... And now that they're finally getting paid for it, it seems like they've lost interest in pushing things forward. It's a pitty indeed.

Dear users,
We appreciate your patience as our development team navigates the challenges of software development. While progress may seem slower, it's due to factors such as the increasing complexity of the project, rigorous testing for quality assurance, integrating user feedback, ensuring team well-being, and staying abreast of technological advancements. Additionally, as a small team, we face the reality that we cannot compete with larger players who have virtually limitless resources at their disposal. Nonetheless, our commitment to delivering high-quality software remains steadfast. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
Sincerely,
RadiAnt Team
