I am currently using a normal pc monitor for viewing Mri images using Radiant.
Will I be able to see better images with a 4K monitor?
Does Radiant output images that will take advantage of a 4 K monitor?
Thank you.

The resolution of MRI images is relatively low. There are no benefits when viewing them on a 4K monitor.

You will DEFINITELY LOVE a 4K monitor, because it will allow you to open multiple series/sequences at the same time while maintaining a crystal clear image (on a 27 inch 4K monitor you can comfortably open six sequences at the same time, on a 31" monitor eight sequences).
Another benefit is that everything you read on your monitor will look absolutely lovely, because individual pixels are tiny in 4K.
I "evolved" from a 24" DELL U2412M (1920x1200) through 27" DELL U2711 (2560x1440) to a pair of two 4K monitors - 27" LG 27UD68P-B (3840x2160) and 31" LG 31MU97Z-B (4096x2160).
Believe me, you will LOVE a 4K monitor.

Why do you use IPS monitors?
PVA/MVA monitors has better static contrast (*VA 3000:1 against IPS 1000:1 ), so grayscale has more tones and black colour is darker.
Or I am mistaken?

Thank you for your input. I will definitely take that into consideration.

4K monitors deliver far better quality and crisp image quality than a normal monitor. Fro MRI images, the clarity is very important from my point of view. Definitely, you can go for a 4K monitor to replace your current normal monitor for viewing MRI and DICOM images using Radiant or any other DICOM viewer.

@ Lukash
You are not mistaken, PVA/MVA monitors do have better static contrast but I have not come across a 4K one in the Serbian market yet.
If yo have any suggestions regarding the specific model/make, they are more than welcome.
Thank you.
