Hi,

We recently purchased a license for CD/DVD in order to burn patient disks and have been struggling to activate the viewer with the codes provided. After digging around on the site it seems we need to purchase one viewer license and one CD/DVD license for each tech workstation we want to burn patient disks?

We love this product but aren't sure how to proceed, thansk!

Regards,
Greg

Hi,

After unpacking the RadiAnt DICOM Viewer CD/DVD archive (https://www.radiantviewer.com/download/?src=fecd&f=cd), the license key file that you received (License.radiantlic) has to be copied to the COMMON folder. The license will be "active" only when the License.radiantlic file is present in the COMMON folder on the CD/DVD disk (or USB drive).

Please note that you have to use *your own software and hardware* to burn the contents of the autorun package along with the files of the DICOM study to the CD/DVD media.
We do not provide software that can receive DICOM studies from PACS locations and burn these studies to CD/DVD discs.
All we provide is a set of RadiAnt CD/DVD viewer files in a zip archive + the license to distribute these files on the CD/DVD discs or USB drives.
RadiAnt DICOM Viewer cannot burn CD/DVD discs by itself.

Please visit this site to read more about the autorun package: http://www.radiantviewer.com/dicom-viewer-manual/index.html?cd_dvd_autorun_package.htm

Kind regards,
Maciej

Hi Maciej,

We have been using the Radiant viewer to query/retrieve studies and burn them, then add the autorun afterwards. So looks like we will need to purchase a viewer as well as the CD/DVD package.

Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,

If you use RadiAnt (the installable version) to retrieve studies from PACS and save the DICOM files for further CD/DVD recording, then yes, a different license is required ("RadiAnt DICOM Viewer").
The "RadiAnt DICOM Viewer CD/DVD" license will not activate the installable version. It is only for the purpose of distributing the autorun CD/DVD viewer.

Kind regards,
Maciej
