this an handy new feature that would be a bless when you deal with exams with multiple series...
the user should be able to "lock" one or more viewports to keep a selected series inside it and avoid that it gets overloaded by another one.
let's make an example.
I set a 3x2 viewports configuration and I load a sagittal T2 of the spine in the first one and other series in the other 5 viewports.
I want that the first viewport is "locked" to always keeps loaded the selected sagittal T2 even if I accidentally drag & drop another series inside it or I accidentally click the "next series" or "previous series" hotkey.
to "lock" a viewport the user should click a small new button in the viewport right upper corner close to the existing "maximize" and "close" buttons.
when you don't need anymore the "lock" you should click again that button to unlock it.

Thank you Tommy for this suggestion. It's certainly worth to consider its implementation.
