When using the Patient CD/DVD DICOM Viewer, is it possible to pre-define via an xml config file the number of panels and which series/orientation is displayed in each?
eg
PET/CT Wholebody dataset, I would like to have the following layout:
2x3 panels
1st row = CT + PET (fused) [ Coronal | Sagittal | Transaxial ]
2nd row = PET [ Coronal | Sagittal | Transaxial ]
This would be very desirable for "simple" end users, ie. patients.
Thanks

Dear Tim,
The feature you're asking about - "hanging protocols" is not yet implemented in RadiAnt. We expect to have it ready sometime in 2014.
Kind regards,
Maciej

I also agree with the above... Many referring docs want the PET/CT DICOM images already fused on a disc. Is exporting fused DICOM images not available yet? Currently says I cannot do that with DICOM, but jpegs work. Docs prefer DICOM. Any solutions?
Thanks,

The solution would be to encourage referring docs to use fusion directly in RadiAnt ;-) The cumbersome workaround is exporting fused images in JPEGs and converting them to DICOMs with some external tool.
