PET_CT fusion

I am trying to fuse my PET and CT scans but the button for doing this is not active. Any idea why? Also since the pixel size for the PET scans are 128x128 and that for CT are 512x512 is there a method implemented in the code to downsample the CT scans before fusing the two?

OK, I take my question back, it is pretty straight forward. What I would like to know is how to export the fused PET-CT scans in DICOM format.

Currently PET-CT fused images can only be exported to JPEG/BMP/WMV files.

1. Open PET/CT study.
2. Split screen into two panels
3. Drag a CT series into the first and a corresponding PET series into the second panel.
4. Activate a panel with the CT series (by clicking it)
5. Click fusion button or use Ctrl + Alt + F keyboard shortcut

You can watch the entire process in one of our videos:

OK, thanks! But: I have a PET/CT study, this is already fusioned on my patients-cd! I now have a MRT and want to fusion it with my PET! Is this possible with your software? If not can you name me a alternative free software?

Only series from the same study can be fused, so in your case fusion is not possible in RadiAnt. I'm not aware of any free software for Windows PC that can perform such fusion...

is there a way to change the color palette to the commonly used "hot iron" for pet/ct fusion? would be great!

@jk

Currently it's not possible... However, we will probably add this feature in the next beta version :-)

Yes, it would be great if you do this...

You can try MIPAV and corregistration, but I don't know if it will work + it's not straightforward at all, MIPAV is not a DICOM viewer software, it is a processing / segmentation tool.

The range of values on the color scale reflects the minimum and maximum values of the fused image (PET). If possible, these values are represented in SUV.
