This time the beta version includes mostly bug fixes.

Minor new features:
-disable cross reference lines
-disable auto synchronization
-more zoom presets (200, 400, 800%)
-new program icon, logo and ant character
-a window to let users know that they can actually buy RadiAnt ;-)

We'll appreciate your comments.

I personally asked for this features...
so I'm very happy about it!!

-new program icon, logo and ant character

new icon looks more serious and professional... however I still love the little green ant so don't remove it from the toolbar (about button)

-a window to let users know that they can actually buy RadiAnt ;-)

We've really been having hard time changing the old ant icon... However, RadiAnt has matured quite a lot since it was introduced, the icon needs to reflect it. We were also concerned that perhaps some potential users could be deterred by the current toy-like icon. What do you think?

I agree. unfortunately some people judge a book by it's cover...

so, even if I loved the Ant icon, I think that from a marketing point of view it was right to change it

Are you planning any PACs Connecticon
? And CE certification so you could sell this as a medical device?

We certainly plan to introduce PACS connectivity.
As for CE certification - there are still many things we'd like to implement before we start to think about making RadiAnt a medical device.

yes, an hybrid between K-PACS (as a PACS archive) and Radiant Viewer (as a DICOM viewer) would be great.
