RadiAnt DICOM Viewer 1.8.17 BETA

In this beta version we would like to present a feature that some of you asked about for some time, customizable annotations. Now this can be done by modifying the overlay.xml file: http://www.radiantviewer.com/betamanual/index.html?overlay_xml.htm

There are also a few changes to the CD/DVD autorun package version ( http://www.radiantviewer.com/betamanual/cd_dvd_autorun_package.htm ):

- changed structure of folders and filenames (for compliance with ISO 9660 Class 1 8+3 filename system)
- cd/dvd scanning can be narrowed down to specified folder(s) (-d command-line parameter)
- the "run.bat" file starts launcher.exe tool, which runs either 32-bit or 64-bit version of RadiAnt DICOM Viewer (previously always 32-bit version was opened)

Last but not least, these improvements and fixes:

- faster opening of large image series from cd/dvd media (in systems low on memory)
- fixed handling of certain JPEG2000 DICOM files

The version for installation can be downloaded here:
http://www.radiantviewer.com/startdownload.php?f=beta

And here you will find the autorun package zip archive:
http://www.radiantviewer.com/startdownload.php?f=betacd

Looking forward to your feedback,
RadiAnt Team
