We are using Siemens Somatom spirit CT Scanner and i tried configuring the cases with the radiant beta. Am able to see cases with approximately 100-150 images(smaller size) but it becomes blank once i try to retrieve larger file size data of around 300-400 images.Can anyone help

Hii Just a quick question about interaction between Orthanc Pacs and Radiant with Client features. I have installed both orthanc and Radiant on the same computer ( all firewalls down) and ensured that the AE titles IP and port are all correct, i can only retrieve patient and study list. No images of the studies are downloaded or viewed...


Any suggestion ?

We have checked that RadiAnt works with the local Orthanc server perfectly well.
You just need to make sure that the following line is added to the Configuration.json file (Orthanc's):

"RadiAnt" : [ "RADIANT", "localhost", 11112, "Generic" ]

this line should be place in the DicomModalities section:

I have configured exactly as below , clicking search will reveal all the patient correctly see screen shot below ( 1 to 3) but no images loads up. Been doing and trying to trouble shoot this for the last one week ...

Communication between two orthanc peers on different host works fine ( not fire wall issue) . I wonder whether you will be kind enough to download sample of the DICOM file and test it on your system. Just wondering the dicom file ( angiography system SHIMADZU ) configuration affecting the communication.

For your information , loading the folder via search folder option into orthanc storage option works absolutely fine. Its amazingly fast . The issue is the lack of search function , therefore need to use the Pacs version of Radiant

Having tested many DICOM viewer in the market , i believe RADIANT is the best choice for clinical cardiologist ( loading angio and echo are fast) . No other viewer can load multiple studies of different patient for comparison simultaneously >>.

We know the reason now. The files you provided are DICOMs with JPEG transfer syntax.
Orthanc cannot convert these files to the standard non-compressed transfer syntax which RadiAnt only supports currently.
In the next versions we will certainly add the support for receiving JPEG DICOMs, too.
Currently you could try other local PACS servers, like Conquest for example, perhaps it can cope with the conversion better than Orthanc.

I am not able to see cases with many images like more than abt 200. Error message comes as Connection timeout. Can u help. I am able to view the files with lesser no. of images

After months of successful viewing u/s pictures via RadiantViewer we now get a message which says Dicom File Not Found.
Any ideas to solve this?

We received your sample file. It looks like it does not fully conform with DICOM standard. We will make some changes in RadiAnt to handle such erroneous files.

RadiantViewer is not supporting RAW Data. without Raw data, all image will come.

You can just search google with "sample dicom files".
