Hello Radiant community developers.

I think it is still very important to introduce 2 features in Radiant Viewer:

- The ability to edit DICOM metadata.
- Curved MPR via central line, to measure stents in the aorta.

Thanks,

Hi,

You can already edit DICOM metadata using the recently introduced anonymization feature. Just create your own template with the values you want to edit.
Curved MPR is still in the pipeline...

Hi there, it could be possible to create a new serie with some "KEY IMAGES" with only positive findings, and send it to PACS?

Kind regards

Good morning, please let me know when the sending of tests to PACS will be improved? some of them are not possible, but e.g. OSIRIX sends without problems, in Radiant there is always an error when sending:
E: cannot negotiate network association: No acceptable Presentation Contexts
E: No Acceptable Presentation Contexts
unless there is another solution for this?

Any updates on if/when subtraction (e.g. MRI) may be available in RadiAnt? Been available in Horos/OSIRIX for years now, and would be a great addition to the RadiAnt platform.

I'm looking at DICOM viewers for our office and I like the Radiant viewer, but reading through the installation and configuration guide, I see that the viewer computer must have a static, external IP address. -Does this mean every computer that I want to install the Radiant Viewer on, but have its own static, external IP address? That I will need to order a static IP address from our ISP and NAT it through our local router to the user's computer? If so, this will severly impact our users ability to use the software in our environment.

Is there any way around this limitation?

Thanks.

First - it depends what you want to do with the software. As a dicom viewer you do not need to worry about ip Adresses. Those become only interesting when you want to send or receive images.
When you want to send/receive only within your local network you just assign with your router a fixed INTERNAL ip and you will not have problems.
If you want a dicom connection with a PC/Server OUTSIDE of your local network (internet), then you might get some problems.
Sending from inside to outside (towards the internet) does not need a fixed ip on your side.
For receiving images it just depends on what sending protocol you use:
C-Move requires a fixed IP-address on both sides.
C-Get however, can work without fixed ip-Adresses. So - if your external dicom source supports C-Get you will have no problems.
Hope that helps!

In terms of printing - maybe DICOM printing could be implemented using dcmtk?

dcmprscu and dcmpsprt could do the job, although it looks far more complicated than storing.

May be still used by some countries, but DICOM printing is little bit outdated.
The toolbar is becoming cluttered with too many icons, so we need a customizable toolbar to allow users to remove unused icons.

But, anyway thank you for developing the tools.

Hi i hope the 3d engine can use integrated gpu of notebooks since these are becoming faster and more capable specially the AMD ones. Maybe the CUDA requirement can be emulated, there are articles about it. Thank you.

Hello Radiant community developers.

I think it is still very important to introduce central line in Radiant Viewer:

Clocking 'download beta version' DOES NOT download the beta version. It downloads the regular version instead. Kindly fix this.
