Progressive rendering in the 3D VR and MPR windows is now available!
https://www.radiantviewer.com/beta/
Let us know if it improves your experience on NVIDIA GPUs.

And here's a little demo:

Our tests show that with virtually any supported NVIDIA GPU, you should get better results than with the CPU. Up to now, only the fastest GPUs allowed to interact adequatly with the volume.

This is rather not possible, there were no changes that could slower the GPU rendering engine. Perhaps you could try changing the progressive rendering option under the settings button in VR window.

Some of you waited for this feature for a very long time. Now it's finally here: image filters.
Check out the latest beta:
https://www.radiantviewer.com/beta/
Shortcuts:
Ctrl+I - next image filter
Ctrl+Shift+I - previous image filter
Shift+I - disable filters
I - next sharpen filter (as probably this will be the most frequently used one)

very useful for conventional radiology images (CR and DR)

Also, it could be useful for lung and bone CT, when there are no original sharpened series.

Very nice work !!! Congratulations.
Only one question, if i download to the database for example from a CD/DVD, where is the examination stored ??? is it possible to change the directory ? This is important if someone download many and/or large files !
Thank you !!

Is it possible to load RadiantViewer from local database using command prompt parameters?
Once study is already saved in localdb, it is nice to open it from localdb using some command parameter

Great addition the 3D snapshots. Don't you think MPR snapshots would be usefull as well? The same implementation could be added to the MPR window.

@Mungunsukh
No, currently you cannot open from DB using command line. We will add this option in the future.
@Marcel
Actually, the 3D snapshots feature is a "by-product" of the 3D movie creator available in the latest beta (5.1.12). I think that all viewers (2D, 3D MPR) will have the option to save their state in the database in the end.

How to quickly create your VR movie:
1) Open 3D VR window (F3)
2) Add key frames to your movie - rotate, move, zoom, change window, etc. to obtain the desired intermediate view and press (K). At least two key frames are required.
3) Open 3D movie settings (Ctrl+F4)
4) Click "Export movie"

Fantastic work! Amazing in such a small package.
I am running Dell Precision 5810 with Quadro Pro 2000P GPU, and cannot load the latest drivers, so I cannot take advantage of the GPU acceleration. Any chance you could reach back to legacy cards?
Thanks Again

Hello!
Thank you aa lot for a new version.
Please tell how can I ajust or disable horizontal scrolling sensivity?
Now when I scroll series down I got series change also because of horisontal scrolling is actiive om the same wheel on my mouse and disabling it in Win 7 does not work in RadiAnt.
What can I do with this issue?
Thank you

UPD. I think it would be great to have a tag for it in options.xml in <tools> section.
Maybe:
<tools>
<hmw>0</hmw> <!-- horisontal mouse wheel - next/previous series navigation: enabled (1) or disabled (2) -->
</tools>
Thank you again.

I have read that you now allow opening DICOMs from multiple folders. It would be great to be able to drag-and-drop or import from multiple ZIP files too.

Ctrl-Shft-N not working on my setup.

Thanks for your kind words, guys!
@Woody
Sorry, but there's no way to support older cards...
Can you elaborate how Ctrl+Shift+N is not working for you?
@Ageev
We will probably add an option to disable horizontal scrolling.
@Jonas
Drag&drop is already possible for multiple ZIP files when importing to DB.
We need to add similar functionality when opening ZIP files directly in the viewer window.

Yes, that would be great. And I assume that is not complicated to implement. I prefer to have studies zipped on my local computer - firstly, DICOMs can easily be compressed and studies consume less space; secondly, it is much easier to move them around (from/to USB, share online) as it is less I/O for computer itself.

Hi... thank you very much for these new features, great job!
Is it possible to apply filtes to the overlay series in fused images? This would be very useful for noisy PET images.
Thanks again

Daniel, thank you!
Currently image filters do not work for fused images. We will consider this improvement.
