RadiAnt sees MRI studies as MR/OT/SR and can't download them from PACS

strange issue that happened to me... I'm using RadiAnt x64 4.0.3 under Win7 x64.

the MRI studies I made in the last 2 days now appear in the PACS search panel modality field as "MR/OT/SR" while most of the exams from previous days are listed just as "MR".

when I try to download any of those "MR/OT/SR" studies, RadiAnt fails and I get an error message telling me to check proper PACS configuration etc. etc.

instead if I try to download the "just MR" studies, the images are retrieved with no issue at all.

I did not change anything in the MRI to PACS DICOM transmission...

moreover if I try to download studies labeled as "MR/OT/SR" from PACS to iQ-VIEW (which is a software I have on another workstation) there's no issue.

so it seems that RadiAnt fails to download those studies that have that "MR/OT/SR" label.
probably there's a bug linked to this specific modality triple-tag.

those MR images are from a Siemens 1.5T magnet... in each study there are medical images in DICOM format and a DICOM text series called PhoenixZIPReport which contains technical data about the protocol.

any idea how to solve this issue?

issue solved thanks to direct support from the developer.
the culprit was a misconfiguration with another DICOM node that prevented to download studies from the desired DICOM node.

so bottomline is that if your RadiAnt searches cases from different nodes, and the first one is misconfigured, you won't be able to download cases from any node, even if the second one is correctly configured.

I suggest to change this and if downloads fails from one node, move to the other.
