search query help

Hello

I have had many complaints from my doctors where they try to search as follows:

lastname,firstname

They use this method for our EHR software, and just about any other medical/PACS systems. You can hit the search button and pull everything up but then the doctors complain about how long it takes. We can just do the last name and it seems to work but is it possible or not to use lastname, firstname?

The server is a basic Conquest DICOM server. When we use Osirix as the client we do not have this problem. Most of the machines are Windows based so we use Radiant for those, Osirix for hte macs.

I think I may have a solution to your problem.
Currently, you can search by both names using a caret between name parts, e.g.: SMITH^PETER
You can also enable automatic replacement of spaces with carets: https://www.radiantviewer.com/dicom-viewer-manual/pacs-configuration.htm (Search settings > Replace spaces with carets)
