RadiAnt has a feature called Toggle series synchronization which allows me to simultaneously scroll two different dicom series. How does that work? I have a dicom series with 240 images and another with 60 slices, and every time the latter moves by 1 slice, the former moves by a variable number of slices (around 4-5 images at a time). There doe not seem to be any obvious logic for how the series move with respect to each other.

Sounds like the syncronization is done due to slice position. Which is btw MUCH better than slice number.

Synchronization is available for images that have spatial location data included in the DICOM file. So if one series has 1.25mm thick images and the other one is 5mm thick, it is natural that there will be 1 thick image skip for each 4 thin slices :-)

You should scroll the series with thinest slice.

DrPaul, illogic scrolling? just do the math... :-)
