I am Japanese.
Since this question was created at the translation site, it may be hard to understand, but please take care.
I tried variously with "trial license" of "RadiAnt".
This application is superior to any other viewer, is not it? It's so fast that I can interact with other applications, so I immediately liked it.
Currently, I tried it with a trial license, but I have a question for this.
Although it works normally with normal PCs, if you are using a virtual PC with Hyper-V or Windows running on MacOS bootcamp, you can not activate the specification license.
After reinstalling "RadiAnt" after installation, "Hardware change wa detected. You need to eactivate the software." Appears on the activation screen.
If you click "Next" button as it is, it was displayed as "The software can not be activated on this system." And it was not possible to continue.
I have not changed the hardware configuration and it always occurs on virtual PC and bootcamp PC.
Is there any improvement method?

Thank you for your kind words about our viewer!
As long as the hardware ID (CPU, memory, hard drive serial number, network MAC address) of your virtual PC does not change, the activation will work.
Also, it might be that you install RadiAnt as administrator and then run it as an unprivileged user. Try installing and running RadiAnt as administrator.

Hello,
I changed wifi card on my laptop. Now I have the same situation. I tried to reinstall viewer but I always get "The software can not be activated on this system."
What can be done if I don't remember my old MAC address?
Thanks

The message you get is displayed on systems where the licensing module cannot generate the machine ID required for activation.
This problems arises only when the Windows WMI service is not working properly.
Often this happens, when a process has limited privileges. Please try installing the software from the administrator account.
Disable temporarily your antivirus software, as it might prevent WMI from working properly in RadiAnt.
Unless you get this service to work (which sometimes can be a complicated procedure), reinstall the operating system or use another computer, you will not be able to install and use RadiAnt.

This guide helped me to solve the problem
https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/ask-the-performance-team/wmi-missing-or-failing-wmi-providers-or-invalid-wmi-class/ba-p/375485
It looks like WMI didn't return correct info about processor for some reason. I had errors about invalid win32_processor class and other classes in wmimgmt -> right click on local record -> Properties window
According this guide two commands helped me (run in cmd):
C:\Windows\System32\wbem>mofcomp.exe cimwin32.mof
C:\Windows\System32\wbem>regsvr32 cimwin32.dll
After that restart wmimgmt, the above window should display correct info about your system. I was able to install RadiAnt DICOM Viewer with trial license.
Hope this helps someone

Hi RadiAnt,
I love working with your software! i have a question regarding activation on a virtual PC. I purchased a subscription and activated the software on my regular pc. Now, within a virtual machine i would like to use the software as well for some testing purposes. Should it be possible using the same activation code?
When i enter the activation code on the virtual machine, it gives me an online activation error code: 404. stating i have to buy another license
Best regards,
David

Hi David,
It's not possible to use one license on two different machines. And the VM is treated as a different machine because it does have a different hardware fingerprint.
