option to archive cases as DICOM lossless

an handy feature I have in iQ-VIEW is to archive all the incoming cases in DICOM lossless syntax regardless of the original DICOM syntax of the images.

this is a true space saver since in my experience with MRI images, there's a 66% space reduction when dealing with DICOM-lossless images and DICOM uncompressed images

RadiAnt can easily receive and display DICOM-lossless files... it would be great if it could compress them to lossless when archiving if the original file was non compressed

Yes, once we have transfer syntax conversion implemented, this will be a valuable addition.
