There's also a new measurement tool - "Deviation", it can be used to show the horizontal or vertical distance between two points, e.g. the height difference between femoral heads.

(im not native english speaker, sorry for my strange english if u mind)
hello, i thank for your splendid work.
but i still have some requests & questions.
1. saving / reminding check boxes value of PACS locations?
can we do it on a product version?
now i put all AET of 20 DCM4CHEEs.
all check boxes are always on when RadiAnt launch.
doing check on/off is troublesome.
and more 1 thing relate this.
im thinking interlocking between HIS(Clinical, Medical Record System) and RadiAnt.
i want to make user appoint PACS on check boxes.
i know difficulty of behavior of GUI & command line.
this time, i could check command line can work with multiple "-paet".
RadiAntViewer.exe -paet PACS1 -paet PACS2 -pstv 00080050 CT_100317287 // by accession number
RadiAntViewer.exe -paet PACS1 -paet PACS2 -pstv 00100020 patid00001 // by patient ID
command line dosent refer check boxes now.
so if pacs.xml(or something) keeps check boxes value like above,
i will make small program to interlock with HIS for ourself (it mayb named RadiAntLauncher?).
HIS kicks RadiAntLauncher ...
RadiAntLauncher refer check boxes value on pacs.xml..,
RadiAntLauncher prepare command line arguments for RadiAnt and kick RadiAnt...
and "welcome to RadiAnt World".
....what do u think? complicate?
2. adding measurement tool CTR - Cardio Thoracic Ratio
for measurement. now RadiAnt has basic tool, Cobb Angle, Deviation.
i think CTR is not so difficult.
there may b some way for CTR measurement. its up 2 u.
anyway our lazy doctor wont use Calculator. please.
3. about thumbnail
i wish newest study(latest study) is upper.
and id like to see newest study first.
scrolling down for refering old study is not troublesome.
because OsiriX is like that.
4. adding user customizable button to launch external program (optional request)
people may want to launch external program to write simple report.
actually id like to launch MS-Word.
but this is optional, low priority.
i have to know infomation of current presenting study.
think u for reading my poor english.
i wrote all of my requests. nothing more.
best regards.

Hi,
1. We will make RadiAnt remember the chosen PACS locations after closing.
2. We may add this tool in the future versions.
3. Perhaps we'll add some toggle to change sorting.
4. We'll think about this feature.
Greetings,
Maciej

Good morging. We need that programa add features lite MIP and MinP for use in thorax studios.
A tool to overlap images in a same studio for osteoarticular measures.
Customize Windows in a more simple way and not overwriting options archive.
Greetings and thanks.

The oblique MPR/MIP/MinIP will be the next major feature.
We will work also on a dedicated window for program settings.
Greetings!

Radiant is my favorite viewer. I was searching through forums as early as 2011 where an annotation tool was requested. Kindly do add a "Text annotation" tool to the upcoming release. The pen tool is ok, but it is limited. I find I cant use it for a teaching slide because of inability to type text annotations in it.
