I've seen this in other PACS viewer and it's an handy feature expecially when you do multiple queries.
let's say I'm doing a query about CT studies made by John Doe in the time period between january 2014 and september 2015
then if I want to do another query about a different patient with no modality filter and no time period I have to edit each field...
please add a button to "clear" query fields and reset them to default
with such a reset query button the modality and the date field would reset to "all" and the patient name will be erased

Tommy, there is a "Clear" button right next to the "Search" button.
Doesn't it show up in your search window?

doh!!! It was already there and I did not notice it...
