| Synchronization problem - DICOM tag issue? |

When I have several axial MR sequences from an animal open, the sync button is greyed out, it is not possible to even manually sync. The images are from a research camera so my suspicion is that the DICOM images are malformed or missing some tag that allows Radiant to determine the imaging plane. How is synchronization achieved in Radiant, what DICOM tags/values are needed?

You need spatial information tags in your DICOM files so that two series can be synchronized.
E.g.
(0020,0032) DS -103.800003\-166.699997\-152.375000 # 3, 36 Image Position (Patient)
(0020,0037) DS 1.000000\0.000000\0.000000\0.000000\1.000000\0.000000 # 6, 54 Image Orientation (Patient)
E.g.
(0020,0032) DS -103.800003\-166.699997\-152.375000 # 3, 36 Image Position (Patient)
