DICOMDIR is a special DICOM file usually found in the root folder of the CD/DVD media with DICOM studies.
This file includes paths to the DICOM files found on the media.
RadiAnt DICOM Viewer uses DICOMDIRs to quickly generate thumbnail images of all series found on the media.
